Petro Canada Scam Complaint - Very Bad Customer Service

At 3 AM today on July 25, 2014 I went back again to Petro Canada at the above-mentioned location in Richmond Hill and I noticed the car wash is closed, so I went inside and asked the employee Sammy why is the car wash closed and he said it's broken and I asked him when will it be fixed? he said maybe today or tomorrow because they tried to fix it earlier today and they couldn't fix it.

I advised him that I have the season car wash, and I asked him if he can provide me with the rewash ticket that is valid for six months and he said he can only provide me with a rewash ticket that's valid for 24 hours only, I advised him that when I spoke to Josh Kincaid who is the manager of customer service, Marcia Richards who is the person incharge of the season pass car wash program, and also John who's the manager of this gas station I was promised that when the car wash goes out of service I should receive the wash ticket that is valid for six months not only 24 hours because I have a season carwash, what's the point if they give me that 24 hour car wash ticket when I can come back the next day and wash my car using the season pass that I have, in this case I'm loosing a day or two, basically you pay for things you don't receive which is illegal and a scam.

He said he doesn't know, no one told him of anything like this where he has to give me the six months rewash ticket, I told him that's fine and that I'll talk to John and Josh about this.


I had spoken to Josh Kincaid who is the manager at Petro Canada customer service, and also Marcia Richards who is in charge of the season pass car wash program, and also John who is the manager at the gas station mentioned above before in the past and they all assured me that I should be receiving the six months rewash ticket every time I notice the car wash is out of service at this location.

I had this issue with this gas station for years and I have tried everything to solve this matter by talking to Marcia Richards, Josh Kincaid, and John and they all assured me that all the employees at the gas station should be giving me the six months rewash ticket, but with all the efforts I made it's all a waste of time because Sammy is telling me that no one told him anything so someone is lying.

When you complain about Petro Canada they don't care, even Josh Kincaid who is the manager of Petro Canada gas station couldn't do anything to fix this matter, it seems like they don't care about their customers or customer service at all, complaining will do nothing, you will just be wasting your time.

I'm very upset with Petro Canada, I will never go there again for gas or car wash, I will contact Josh Kincaid in the morning and request a refund of my season pass car wash because I am not satisfied with petro canada because they are running such scam and stealing my money, and if that doesn't work I will contact my credit card company and ask them to dispute/chargeback the payment, I will also file a complaint with BBB.ORG.

Petro Canada Richmond Hill Car Wash Complaints

I am a regular customer of Petro Canada that's located in Richmond Hill at the address listed above, I go there to get gas and also car wash, I always buy the Season Car Wash card from them all the time every 3 months, winter and summer, I used to go to Esso Gas station in Richmond Hill that's located at 735 16th Ave which is at the intersection of Bayview and 16th Ave. But then I switched to Petro Canada instead because they offer Ultra 94 and Esso doesn't.

Also, Petro Canada offers the season car wash card and esso doesn't offer that, but I am very upset with the petro canada location that's located at 5 Red Maple Rd. in Richmond Hill because I noticed their car wash goes out of service very frequently, many times I drive there so I can get my car washed and I noticed they closed the car wash, and as I said I always have the season car wash card and therefore its no use when the car wash is out of service.

I had spoken to the staff and also Retssie who is the manager of this gas station about this issue and they said that I can go to any other petro canada car wash and use my card, but the problem is this, this is the only petro canada gas station that offers a 24 hour touchless car wash without a conveyor, there is none in the area that offers this at all.

Then I called Petro Canada headoffice and I was referred to Marcia, she is at the head office of Petro Canada @ 905-804-4309 who is in charge of the season pass car wash program, and addressed the issue to her and asked her to add the extra days on my season car wash membership and she did, and she advised me that because I have the season car wash, the staff at the gas station should have issued me a car wash ticket that's valid for 6 months, I told her that no one offered this to me, so she just added the extra days onto my membership.

About a week later, same problem occurred again, I went to speak to Retssie "manager at the above location" and she offered to give me a car wash ticket that's only valid for 24hours, I explained to her that what's the purpose of this ticket as it's only valid for 24hours! she said I can wash my car tomorrow as the car wash will be fixed by then, I advised her that when tomorrow comes I can just use my season car wash card instead so what's the use of the ticket? she said that's all she can do.

So I contacted Marcia again and she assured me that she had already contacted the owner and manager at the above gas station and advised them that they are to issue the 6 months car wash ticket for those who have the season car wash membership, and she was surprised what Retssie had said to me, Marcia seemed kind of frustrated and apologized and said that she will contact the owner and management again and speak to them about this, she again added more days to my membership.

I hate to do this, to have to waste the time and call Marcia every time when this issue can easily be dealt with at the store level without having to waste my time and Marcia's time.


Today I experienced the same issue, I went into the car wash and the machine started but in the wash cycle no soap came out, only wax and water, so I went inside the gas station and spoke to the employee there and he said he saw already what happened that the soap didn't come out he is aware of it and he asked me to fill out a form and in return he will give me a car wash ticket that's valid for 24 hours only, I explained to him all the above and he said he is not aware of it, Retssie and no one had ever informed him that he is supposed to offer the 6 months expiration car wash ticket, I was very upset again so I called and left a voice mail message for Marcia and I am awaiting for her call.

I will continue posting here every time I have a problem with petro canada.
